Observing and capturing the unexpected, is one of the best attributes a wedding photographer can possess! One of my favourite images from a Waddesdon wedding, bit.ly/1dEEE6E (last year at the Dairy) came from spotting this bridesmaid bent over the fish tank in the Winter Garden. Quickly I grabbed a shot, then moved back a tad and fired a second, then as she looked to jump down, I rapidly moved in, grabbed her shoes and placed them as in Pic 3, moved back and fired off another frame. Fortunately, she was still engaged in watching the fish, so a much better image was in the can!
Here’s a favourite image of a wedding ceremony taken at Luxters Barn http://www.oldluxtersbarn.co.uk near Hambleden. It’s the moment the groom realises his best man, really does have the rings! This for me, is pure magic to capture and for the couple and their guests and was a great ice-breaker too, as laughter rang out!
