Would you like to get more from your photography? It doesn’t really matter what camera you own, as the most important thing is developing the ability to see, compose and capture an image. So, using a variety of techniques, I can help you in the process of capturing and creating memorable images, even on an iPhone!
I first picked up a camera, (the ubiquitous Kodak Box Brownie) at age 12 and began shooting and producing amateur movies at 16. I became more serious about still photography in my early 20’s and eventually turned professional in my late 30’s. I’m just a little older now, but have a wealth of knowledge and experience that I am passionate to share.
I hold one-to-one sessions on learning how to get the best from your camera, even if it’s an iPhone! All cameras/devices these days will produce an acceptable image, but it’s how you frame, light and capture the moment that makes the difference. If you have a preferential subject you would like to improve on, (portraiture, landscape etc) then of course we can major on that. Notes will be given for you to take away with info relating to the aesthetics of composition and lighting, as well as the technicalities of F stops and shutter speeds etc.
The day will run from 10am – 4pm, include a buffet lunch and is held at my premises in Stone near Aylesbury. The price is £250 inclusive. I can come to you for no extra charge within a 20 mile radius of Aylesbury. If you’re located further away, there would be a small extra charge to cover my travelling expenses. So, please give me a call on 01296 747747 – you will have a fun informative day!
The “ancient” images below have been kindly supplied to me and go back a few years to the age of film!
The above image always makes me laugh! A well caught moment – “Beam me up Scottie” “What shall I do next?” Feel free to add your own comment!
So here I am a few years ago near Belfast, demonstrating my portrait techniques to fellow professionals.

After lecturing in Austria at the WCPP 2nd World Congress, I was invited to Amberg, Germany, by John Song of the Lab Sudcolor, to demonstrate my wedding photography to fellow professionals.
